Our archiectural Firm

Jasinski Architects International is owned and operated by Donald Jasinski who has maintained his archiectural offices without interruption since 1956. We have developed and used a design system incorporating living spaces derived from human movement; we call it "CHOROTECTONICS". We are experienced and dedicated to "GREEN" buildings and have developed an expertise over the years in designing and building " Earth Sheltered" structures and homes that are economical and ecologically respectful. All the components of architectural design, site landscaping and interiors, even down to the lighting are all conceived as one integrated harmonious whole.

We have completed commercial, ecclesiastical and residential jobs in traditional as well as contemporary design modes, but has grown with the times to favor an advanced "Humanist" design philosophy.

The firm has done work throughout the USA as well as around the world and we adjust the staff to best serve the needs of our clients. This flexability keeps the office costs down, and therefore the client fees at a minimum.

Contact us to discuss your project or to set up a no-obligation consultation.

Windows facing the south or an overhead skylight will fill the interior with sunshine. Designers of underground homes have developed several methods for regulating the interior temperature. Some underground homes depend entirely on the natural insulation provided by the walls and floors. Sometimes tubes are channeled through the earth to bring in air. And, sometimes a heat pump is used to regulate temperatures. Earth sheltered homes are typically made of concrete....
